Born in Baroda, Gujarat, Purvi hails from a long line of art and textiles enthusiasts. She was a counselor and scholarship student at American Dance Festival, the premier USA dance camp. A lawyer, she also completed her undergraduate honor's thesis at Duke University on Himayalan art. Purvi enjoys her using her modest knowledge of Ayurvedic diets and traditional Indian fermentation practices on her favorite guinea pigs, her two children, Rohan and Kiran, for whom she began the camp. Girish is a former military officer and marksman with more than a decade of experience in counter-insurgency operations. For the past three years he has overseen safety and security for South India's largest five-star resort chain. He holds a degree in Institution Safety and Security.
An avid outdoorsman, Josh has led kids on trekking expeditions since 1993. He was part of a team that was the first in modern history to travel by canoe from downtown Houston to the Gulf of Mexico. While a student at Duke University he completed the Project Wild outdoor leadership program.
